“Symposium on Symbolic Computation and Beyond: Celebrating Dongming Wang's Contributions” was successfully held from June 26 to 28, 2026, at the Hangzhou International Campus of Beihang University. The symposium was organized to celebrate Professor Dongming Wang’s significant contributions to the field of symbolic computation and brought together experts and scholars from China and abroad to exchange ideas on the current status and future directions of symbolic computation.
The symposium focused on theoretical methods, algorithmic software, and applications of symbolic computation in mathematics, computer science, artificial intelligence, and other related fields. Experts and scholars from around the world delivered academic presentations and engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest developments, disciplinary growth, and broader applications of symbolic computation. During the symposium, the "Symbolic Computation Forum: Retrospect and Prospect" was also held, providing a platform for discussions on the future development of symbolic computation.
