On November 2-3, 2024, the International Workshop on Recent Advances in Mathematics, hosted by the Sino-French Laboratory for Mathematics of Beihang University, was successfully held at the Conference Center of Beihang University's Hangzhou International Campus.
As a sub-forum of the 2024 Beihang Global Partners Summit, the workshop brought together nearly 20 distinguished scholars and experts from renowned institutions worldwide. Participants included researchers from Sorbonne University and Université Paris-Saclay in France, as well as scientists from prestigious research organizations such as CNRS and INRIA. The event also featured academicians of the European Academy of Sciences and editors-in-chief of leading journals in related fields. The participants delivered academic talks and shared the latest progress in their respective research areas.
During the workshop, Professor Ilias Kotsireas from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, was appointed as an Academic Advisor of Sino-French Mathematics Laboratory.
