On the morning of November 3, 2024, the inauguration ceremony of Sino-French Laboratory for Mathematics of Beihang University was held with great ceremony during the 2024 Beihang Global Partners Summit. Witnessed by more than 300 distinguished guests, faculty members, and students from China and abroad, the laboratory was officially launched.
The unveiling of the Sino-French Mathematics Laboratory was jointly conducted by President of Beihang University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Yunpeng Wang, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Chaofeng Xu, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Mayor of Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government Weihua Xu, Deputy Director General of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education Peidong Shu, Second-Level Inspector of the Foreign Experts Services Department, State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs Juanjuan Li, Vice President of Beihang University Weisheng Zhao, Academic Advisor of Sino-French Laboratory for Mathematics Prof. Ilias Kotsireas, and Professor Jacques Peyrière from Université Paris-Saclay, France.
